Meet Zach anf Lauren.. We we booked their wedding day, we had no idea what the day would entail. I knew it was an outside venue, but what we didn’t expect was the absolute monsoon of rain that would begin about 15 minutes before we were supposed to walk out the door for the ceremony. But this spunky wild bride was up for the challenge and she did not let the rain keep her from her dream garden wedding. So my second photographer and I wrapped our cameras in plastic bags, everyone busted out their umbrellas and surround by their friends and family they said their ‘I Do’s’ in the pouring rain under a little white gazebo in Valparaiso.

We were so lucky that by the time we traveled to the reception hall, the rain had stopped and we were finally able to get pictures outside! The reception was completely filled with many tears, laughs, and so full of joy all you could do was laugh and smile!!

Overall, we loved this super fun couple and we loved this family. I can’t explain how much of an honor it is to be asked to photograph  their  wedding!! Lauren and Zach, thank you for trusting  us with your  beautiful garden wedding, despite the rain!! Enjoy my favorites from your day!!! <3
