I just absolutely adored capturing Joe and Jen’s wedding!! From the moment I first met with them and their adorable blonde haired baby boy, I knew I wanted to be apart of their big day! Jen and Joe’s relationship started out as just friends then bloomed into so much more! When I found out that Jen’s engagement ring actually was given to Joe by her mother, because it was her grandmother’s ring.. I seriously about melted.. I’m such a sucker for romance and love <3..

They chose to have a small intimate wedding with their closest friends and family at the incredibly beautiful Fernwood Botanical Garden & Nature Preserve in Niles, Michigan. When I first went their the week before and was scouting out the grounds with them, my heart raced. I couldn’t think of a more perfect place for this sweet couple to start their journey together! Everything was absolutely perfect from their sweet first look, to the writing and reading of each other’s love letters, yes even tears filled my eyes too,, No surprise there, haha.
