Love stories come in all shapes and sizes, but some are so unique and heartwarming that they stand out in a league of their own. When Nick first contacted me about surprising his girlfriend Abbie in the softball field to propose I was BEYOND excited!!!

As the day approached and I chatted more and more with Nick I knew it was going to be perfect! We were a little nervous as the day came and it was forecasted to rain!! When I got there I met all of Nick and Abbie’s family and each and every one of them were dying with excitement!!

For Abbie softball was more than just a game; her passion as she was an assistant coach to a traveling softball team. Little did Abbie know that one away game would turn into a game-changing moment in their lives.

Nick, with the help of friends, family, and the softball team, meticulously planned a surprise proposal that would catch Abbie completely off guard. Friends and family gathered behind the stands, blending in with the usual crowd of cheering fans. Abbie, unsuspecting and focused on the game, had no idea that her life was about to take an unexpected turn.

Just before the game started Nick stepped forward, the glint of nervous excitement in his eyes. As Abbie turned to face him, she was met not only with a softball but within it, a sparkling diamond ring held out by the man she loved. The crowd erupted in cheers as Nick dropped to one knee and asked the question that would change their lives forever.

Abbie, overwhelmed with emotion, said yes in a moment that felt like a home run for their hearts. The softball field, once a place of competition and camaraderie, now bore witness to a love story unfolding in a way that was uniquely theirs. The celebration that followed was nothing short of fun. Even as the rain began to fall on us, nothing could stop their celebrations and excitement!
