Maria and George’s Ogden Gardens engagement session was one of those evenings that reminded me exactly why I love photographing couples so much. From the moment we started exploring the gardens together, everything felt easy, joyful, and incredibly genuine. Between the soft spring light, blooming greenery, and the sweetest interactions between these two, every part of this session was a dream to photograph.

Ogden Gardens created the perfect backdrop for their engagement photos. The winding pathways, lush gardens, and peaceful atmosphere gave us so many beautiful spots to capture both romantic portraits and playful candid moments. It truly felt like spring had arrived in the best possible way.

What I loved most about Maria and George was how naturally they connected with each other. They were constantly laughing, dancing, and sneaking little moments together throughout the session. Nothing felt forced. Their chemistry made every image feel effortless and authentic, which is always my favorite kind of session.

And Maria’s ring? Absolutely stunning. I was obsessed from the moment I saw it! Between the gorgeous ring details and the soft neutral tones of their outfits, every part of this session photographed beautifully.

One of my favorite moments from the evening was watching the way George looked at Maria throughout the session. Whether they were quietly holding hands or laughing together during a twirl, there was such a genuine tenderness between them that made these images feel extra meaningful.

I always tell couples that engagement sessions don’t need to feel scary or awkward. The best engagement photos happen when couples simply enjoy being together, and Maria and George did exactly that. Their session felt less like a photoshoot and more like a joyful evening spent celebrating this exciting season of life together.
